Can I talk to the goodgame players over the internet ? Can I have their MSN contact ?
Regarding MSN, it's impossible because we have too many requests. On the other hand, you can try and talk to them through IRC on our channel (#gg on Quakenet) but it is not sure wether they will answer or not. Once again they have to handle a lot of requests so there are big chances they won't answer. A way to get in touch with the team is to use the "Contact page" on this website. We do answer every single e-mail we receive, provided we are given a valid e-mail address to answer to.

How to make it to a top team ?
The journey to join a top team is quite long nowadays. It is important to know from the beginning that there are few seats and many candidates. The only way to make it is to start playing with a team that has your level or even below what you believe is your level and then keep trying to improve and attend as many competitions as possible to make a name for yourself in the competitive community. Players as Baldours have started playing Counter Strike seriously while goodgame already was at the top of the French national scene. They went through all the steps one by one before they got recruited on our team. Overall it took them several years to get there.

How did you manage to get yourselves well known ?
It is important to understand that our team's players didn't get the recognition they've been enjoying lately overnight. As a matter of fact, to be recognized as a good Counter Strike player, you have to prove yourself time and time again until others start acknowledging your skills.

Could I have some advice ?
It's tough to give advice like this. On the one hand because it is difficult to advice someone when you don't know what his problems in the game are. On the other hand we don't have the time to dig into each player's playing style. Still, here is the advice we can give any player :

One should never rely on luck or badluck. What some people may call badluck actually is a combination of factors that can be determined with a lot of experience and some brains. The better the player, the less he talks about badluck. On the contrary he will tell about the mistakes he comitted and which he'll try to wipe out of his game. You should always wonder about what you could have done better and not believe that badluck is the main reason for a loss.

Watch demos and try to understand why top players act in such way or another. Try and understand how a good players thinks will help you understand they way he sees the game as a whole. Hence you'll be able to better reproduce the blueprints of their game in your own game.

Never forget that CS is a team game. Even when a teammate commits a mistake which seems very stupid to you, you shall NEVER throw it to his face in an aggressive manner. If you're better than your teammates, help them improving. If you're not as good as them, learn from them. Complain about a teammate who would be too weak will never help you win a game or get noticed to join a better team.

Is it possible to play a friendly war versus goodgame ?
It is unfortunately not possible because we already lack practice time to prepare top events.

Is playing Counter Strike your job ? If not, what is your main activity besides gaming ?
No. Today very few people make a living out of Counter Strike. The players on the team are either at the university or in high school.

How much time do you spend on CS per day ? per week ?
On average, players on the team spend around 4 hours per day on CS. It allows them to keep going to school seriously.

What do the numbers in your ingame tag mean ?
They don't really mean anything. When goodgame started back in 2000, the founders thought it would be cool to have numbers next to their tags, so they just did it. Remember these players were StarCraft players and they decided to choose any number that would fit their tastes. When the CS squad got recruited, we decided their numbers would start at 40 and so on. So oRgy was "GG40" as the first CS player on the squad and then the remaining players took the following numbers. Each new player on the team gets a new number following the latest that was given out. dim2k is the latest recruit in goodgame, he wears number 58, as he is the 19th player to be a part of the team.
